Biography: Zoltán is an economist graduated in 1991 in Budapest.

He worked in different positions for the Hungarian Foundation for Enterprise Promotion (Phare SME programme) and the Hungarian Development Bank (to establish and run a network of regional development companies providing capital for SMEs).

He was a consultant for 15 years mostly in the field of regional development, SME support and logistics, developing and implementing projects in various branches of INTERREG.

Since 1999 he is the managing director of the South-Transdanubian Regional Innovation Agency with a responsibility of defining and implementing the Regional Innovation Strategy and for developing projects – national and international – which enhance the implementation of the RIS.
