Steinbeis Europa Zentrum (SEZ) stands for over 30 years of experience in innovation consulting and research funding throughout Europe and beyond. With its projects, SEZ is successful worldwide: in 2023, the organization was involved in 80 EU projects with 800 international partners in 49 countries.
Well-connected with international partners and networks, SEZ stands by companies, start-ups, universities, research institutions, cluster initiatives, networks and public sector actors on issues of innovation management, financing, EU applications, international markets, regional and social transformation and innovation policy. These clients benefit from added value through various activities from the non-profit, business as well as European sectors.
SEZ is highly experienced in the participation in and management of EU-funded projects in the fields of innovation management and services, social innovation, open innovation as well as regional development – in particular in the Danube region.
SEZ is also member of the Districts of Creativity (DC) network. Each year, reverse missions provide study visits to the member regions. Leading experts, entrepreneurs, public servants and policy makers from the DC network gather to explore a host region during a multi-day program that provides insights into the way the hosting region fosters creativity and innovation. Business meetings, site visits, presentations and workshops are worked out with the aim to bring inspiration, best practices and loads of useful contacts that can be translated to the other DC regions.
